Ellie Burks, Betty and Sandy (Curtis Kay's wife) decorating the Christmas tree at home after Mom's death. She had had planned for everyone to be there for Christmas and was really excited about it. All her children and some of the grandchildren decided to do as we planned and all came home for Christmas as we knew she was there in spirit. We carried on the same traditions as she always had. Egg nog and lots of goodies on Christmas Eve and opening the gifts on Christmas morning. What a joyous time it was during the childhood years of her children.  We did not know that we did not have much. We had love and wonderful times.
